Show GREENVILLE Greenville held their Community Com-munity turkey dinner and Christmas party in the Relief Society building Dec. 16. About 45 were present. After the bountious dinner was over games were played and a short program was given: Mrs. Mary Ellen Atkin and Amasa Barton Bar-ton each gave readings, James Williams sang, and group sin-ing sin-ing of carols filled the remainder remain-der of the time. Those in charge of arrangements were Mrs. Fay Fordham, Mrs Mary Ann Williams, Mrs. Joann Blackner, Mrs. Margaret Barton Bar-ton and Mrs. Bessie Edwards. Allen Blackner Jr., .Son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Blackner arrived ho'me for a month's leave, after having spent 2 years as a Naval Attache to the American Embassy in Moscow, Mos-cow, Russia. He will visit his family at Cedar City, Beaver and Salt Lake City before reporting re-porting to San Diego, where he will reinlist and attend instructor in-structor school for three months, prior to further assignment. as-signment. Allen has spent 16 years with the U. S. Navy. |
