Bell Telephone Offers 'Trip to Christmas A sparkling Christmas hour entitled ''A Trip to Christmas" will be telecast on the Bell Telephone program Sunday, December 24, at 9:00 p.m. on Channel-2. The Famous Hollywood and TV star Jane Wyatt will be hostess. John Raitt, one of our most talented and popular baritones of the musical theater" and television will sing traditional and popular Christmas tunes. The Lennon Sisters, known throughout the U.S. for their harmonious medleys, will perform per-form as a trio. They started singing on the Lawrence Welk program, coincidentally, on Christmas Eve, 1955, and have been in the public eye ever since. Other stars will include Lisa Delia Casa, a native of Switzerland, Swit-zerland, who appeared on the Bell Telephone Hour Christmas Christ-mas show two years ago, Jane Morgan, a popular songstress whose recordings have sold in the millions and Violette Verdy and Edward Villella of the New York Ballet. Rounding out "A Trip to Christmas" Will be the accompaniment accom-paniment of Donald Voorhees and the Bell Telephone Orchestra Orches-tra now in its 22nd year on the air. The Christmas musical will be produced by Henry Jaffe Enterprises, with Barry Wood as executive producer. Fred Heider will produce this show. |
