Every subscriber has 150 votes for the King and Queen of his or her choice. ADDITIONS TO M H S Two additions to M H S are the, fan and the stereo-record player. The fan, which has caused students to ask many questions, came from an army surplus store for Milford High School use. This fan was purchased pur-chased by the school board. The other addition is the new stereo-record player, and was purchased by the school to be used at dances and other school functions. UNITED NATIONS WEEK The observance of national United Nations Week will begin be-gin on Sunday,. Oct. 22, and end on Saturday, Oct. 28. During this eventful week Milford High School will have a guest speaker who is an authority au-thority on the U N. He will speak on the United Nations and how we, the people, must-depend must-depend on this worthwhile organization or-ganization to solve our problems prob-lems in these perilous times. FRESHMAN INITIATION The Mighty Seniors have chosen Friday for the torturing of the poor Freshmen. They will be dressed in all sorts of weird costumes selected by the Seniors. They are also instructed in-structed to bring a lunch for O CD TTJEZJ By the JOURNALISM CLASS of MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL Mrs. Mary McCuIIy, Instructor SEMINARY BANQUET The seminary will hold a banquet for the. parents of the seminary students Oct. 14 at 6:30 p. m. in the LDS Chapel. The reason for the banquet is to raise money for a new Seminary Building. It will cost $5 per plate. We hope to have a large crowd out and support the seminary. BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT The parents of most of the students of Milford High were back in class last Wednesday at 8:00. They attended each class for 10 minutes. The teachers gave their procedures and objectives of their different classes. YEARBOOK SUBSCRIPTIONS Yearbook subscriptions are being sold by Marsha Smith in the Student Lounge every noon hour.
