Pryor Howard Pryor, candidate for 4-year County Commissioner, was born in Minersville April 27, 1923, to Frank and Ima Myers. He married Gwen Lashua at Port Townsend, Wash., Aug. 14, 1943. They have three children, David, Joan and Gaye Pryor. Mr. Pryor is a member of the LDS Church. During World War II he served with the U S Navy. He is a member of the Minersville American Amer-ican Legion Post, has served as Post Commander and is present Post Service Officer. I In his earlier life he worked as a farmer, mining and milling, heavy equipment and churn drill operator, and in a paper mill in Washington. He has also been a truck driver for a freight line, and was chairman of Local 124, Ruth, Nev., of the Mine, Mill & Smelter Union. For the past several years he has been assistant manager of Pryor's Merc in Minersville. |
