Show Janyce Bradshaw, Sherman C. Myers Exchange Marital Vows An impressive ceremony performed per-formed by Bishop Earl Baldwin Saturday, Oct. 15, united in marriage mar-riage Miss Janyce Bradshaw,' daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bradshaw, and Mr. Sherman C. Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude R. Myers of Milford, in marriage, at the home of the bride's parents in Manderfield. They were attended by Miss Joyce Bradshaw, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, and Mr. Ronald Thompson as best man. The bride was lovely, entering on the arm of her father, dressed in a gown of nylon lace over taffeta. It had a scalloped boat neckline accented with sequins, a fitted bodice with long sleeves pointed at the wrist and trimmed with tiny buttons; and a bouffant skirt with sequin flower designs with a chapel train which was carried by a brother, Hyrum. The bride's bouquet was a centered cen-tered orchid surrounded with talisman roses and baby carnations, carna-tions, with orchid colored lace streamers. Her veil was fingertip finger-tip length, of sheerest illusion floating from a crown of open cutwork trimmed in pearls. Virginia Bradshaw played the Wedding March. The bride's mother was gowned in an acetate jacket dress, and Mrs. Myers, mother of the groom, wore a wool tunic dress. The bridesmaid wore a pink nylon net dress fashioned with a bouffant bouf-fant skirt and a taffeta cummerbund, cummer-bund, with brocaded silver slippers. slip-pers. The flowers for the ladies, including in-cluding the two grandmothers, Mrs. Lafe Bradshaw and Mrs. Glenn Blackner, were all of talisman talis-man rosebuds, baby carnations and fall mums. Following the wedding a buffet dinner was served to 45 relatives and close friends, after which the wedding party moved to the Relief Re-lief Society rooms of the First-Third First-Third Ward chapel, where a program pro-gram was presented under direction direc-tion of Howard Bradshaw. A beautiful wedding cake of white with elegant trim in peach colored wedding designs, bells and chrysanthemums, topped with the traditional bride and groom, was on display. The gift room was in charge of Shirley, Patsy, Bonnie and Rea Dawn Bradshaw. Serving were Rachel and Marilyn Bradshaw, Carla and Sheryl White. Attending from out of town were Mrs. Claudette Hatcher of Lake Tahoe, Nev., sister of the bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob White and family of Cedar City. |
