Edwin Paice, Republican candidate for State Representative, Representa-tive, is an educator, farmer, stock grower, civic leader and churchman. church-man. He was born in Beaver Nov. 18, 1895, and received his schooling in Beaver City and the old Murdock Academy. He attended at-tended the University of Utah and Utah State Agricultural College. Col-lege. He taught school in Beaver, Beav-er, Washington and Cache Counties Coun-ties and for several years has been principal of the Beaver Junior High School. He married Martha Dean of Beaver in 1916. They have five daughters and two sons. He and his sons operate a dairy in Beaver, and Mr. Paice is a landowner in Beaver Valley and owns a farm in Milford Valley. Val-ley. He has been active in the LDS Church, was a Beaver Stake High Councilman for nine years; Bishop Bish-op of the Beaver West Ward for eight years, and a member of the bishopric several years. He was a members of the Stake Presidency for two years. He is a charter member of the Beaver Lions Club, and has been active in Scouting and other youth activities. I |
