Show NEWS OF YOUR NEIGHBORS IN SOUTH MILFORD By MRS. CLAIR GILLINS Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Evans and sons and Joan Bozartb, Mrs. Evans' sister, left last Wednesday for Sacramento, Calif., where they will be stationed for some time. Gerald is in the Air Force. They had been visiting Geralds' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Duard Evans, for several weeks. Mrs. Elva Lofthouse and sons Larry and Terry left Wednesday to spend a few days in Salt Lake getting things ready for Larry, who will leave next Monday to fill a mission for the LDS Church. Spending a day shopping in Cedar City last Friday were Mrs. Maude Veesey, Mrs. Katie Wil-lingham, Wil-lingham, Mrs. Marjorie Sherwood and Laura, and Mrs. Betty Na-ruse. Na-ruse. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Puffer several days last week were Mr. and Mrs. El-wood El-wood Nilsson of Las Vegas, and Miss Eva Powell of Beaver. 9 Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Halley, parents of Mrs. Melba Marshall, spent the week end with the Marshalls. The Halleys are from I Murray. 9 Mrs. Hazel Rodgers entertained for Mrs. Nona Gillins on her birthday last Friday. Those enjoying en-joying ice cream and a birthday cake made by Mrs. Rodgers, at Nona's home, were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rodgers and children, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright and Denny, Den-ny, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins, Martin Sherwood, Mrs. Marjorie Sherwood and Laura, Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins and children. chil-dren. Enjoying a birthday dinner at Greenville Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Duane Yardley nad family, Mr. and Mrs. Max Stewart and family of South Milford; Arnold Swindlehurst of Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Swindlehurst and baby of Boulder City, and other children of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Blackner. The occasion was Mrs. Blackner's birthday. 0 Spending Monday in Cedar City were Mrs. Nora Wright and Denny, Mrs. Nona Gillins, Keith and Kathy; Mrs. Clair Gillins and Louise. Mr. and Mrs. William Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Max Stewart and children spent Monday at Indian In-dian Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger enjoyed en-joyed a visit last week from their daughter Joyce and her husband. |
