Show NEWS OF YOUR NEIGHBORS IN SOUTH MILFORD By MRS. CLAIR GILLINS O Mr. and Mrs. Willard Poulton of Salt Lake stopped for a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goodwin. The Poultons were en route to Las Vegas to visit their children. Visitors at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wright and baby of Beaver, Saturday, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wright and children, ialso of Beaver, Sunday. The 4-H Club held their regular regu-lar meeting ait the clubhouse last Wednesday. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins last Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins, Keith and Kathy; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stoker and Steven of Cedar Ce-dar City, Mrs. Billie Stoker and Grandma Stoker of Milford. Mrs. Lizzie Stewart underwent major surgery last week at the Beaver County Hospital. She is recovery nicely and will be released re-leased to her home in a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Del Roy Jones and chidlren are now making their home in Orem. Duane Yardiey is attending 4-H Leadership School in Logan this week. Jimmy Gronning of Cedar City was a week eni visitor at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Grnning. Carr Wiseman returned home Sunday from Twin Falls, Idaho, where he spent 10 days visiting his mother, who is seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wright and son have been staying the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright. Clark had injured his arm and was receiving medical attention here. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones and children .visited in Miners-ville Miners-ville Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Duard Evans called on relatives in Parowan I last Sunday. Word was received last Friday by the family of Martin Sherwood that he is seriously ill. Mr. Sherwood Sher-wood is spending the winter in California with his daughters. His friends in Milford and South Mil-ford Mil-ford wish him a sDeedy recovery. Mrs. Barbara nones and Shauna of Springville called on Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Jones last Saturday. Barbara came down to see her father, Owen Stoker, who has been confined to the Beaver County Hospital the past three weeks. Best wishes and congratula tions to Bryan and Mickie from their friends in South Milford. Mrs. Laura Miller and son Chester of Salt Lake, former residents res-idents of South Milford, were here to attend funeral services for George Mayer. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Mayer last week end were Mr. and Mrs. Gus Mayer, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bollinger, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jesse and Artie Lubelt, all of Lodi, Calif.; Mrs. Clara Sehiedeman of Dearborn, Mich.; and Mrs. Eldon Findley and daughter of Riverdale, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer had as guests last week Mr. and Mrs. Art Liebclt of North Dakota and Mrs. Ncrbert Schimke of Minot, N. D. Forty-five members of the Seventa-day Adventist Church met at the club house for dinner last Saturday. Feb. 2.0 Visiting Mi', and Mrs. Theman Walker over tiie week end were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gale and children of Cedar City and Mrs. Hilda Nolan of Salt Lake. Mrs. Nolan is extending her visit to help care for her mother, Mrs. Emma Walker, who has been confined to the hospital but is now convalescing at home. Sunday visitors at the Theman Walker home were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schwob of Beaver. |
