Show Beaver Jaycees Plan Early Santa Claus Visit The Beaver Jaycees have arranged ar-ranged for an early visit from Santa Claus. Hal Smith, Jaycee president, announced this week. Santa will arrive by sleigh at 1 p. rn. Saturday, Dec. 14, and will be escorted to his headquarters head-quarters in the Firmage Theatre The-atre by the Beaver Volunteer i'ire Department. At the theatre the-atre he will pass out candy to all children, along with a free ticket to a special matinee which starts at 2:30. Santa will be in Beaver all day Saturday, Dec. 14, and! will take time to visit with all little children whose parents! take them downtown.' Fcllofing their welcome for Santa, the. Jaycees will conclude con-clude the day with their annual Christmas party for all Jaycees and their wives, starting at 8 p. m. in the Odd Fellows Hall. Mr. Smiih also announced lhat Ihe Jaycees are sponsoring sponsor-ing a home lighting contest, with judging to be between Dec. 24 and 27. Cash prizes of $25, $15 and $10 will be awarded winners. |
