RALPH STEWART STEW-ART of Adamsville held oron hc.'se in honor of newlyweds Mr. and Mrs Jcdel Smith Saturday evening in the First-Third Ward Relief Society Rooms. Greeting the guests with the bride and groom were Mr. and Mrs. Stewart, parents of the bride; Mrs Iris Jones, mother of the grecm, and Joy C. Payne, maid of honor. Many 'friends and relatives rel-atives from Paragonah and other Southern Utah towns attended the affair ,; MRS. JEAN CARTWRIGHT en-'tertained en-'tertained her club Friday, April 30. The afternoon was spent sewing sew-ing and visiting. Five members and a guest, Mrs. Thora Beeson, were present and enjoyed a delicious lunch served by the hostess.. MISS LU ANN SMITH was. guest of honor at a birthday party given by her mother, Mrs. Ken Smith, last Saturday. Twenty friends were present to help LuAnn cele-grate cele-grate her sixth birthday. MRS. JACKIE NOWERS was hostess to her club on Friday of last week. The evening was spent playing pinochle. Prizes were won by Mona Lu Gentry, Johnnie Bow-den Bow-den and Maxine Edwards. Six members and two guests, Faye Hollingshead and Maxine Edwards, were present. The hostess host-ess served a tasty plate luncheon. |
