Show Cliff McShane Made Vice President of Telluride Power Co. By recent action of its board of directors, Orrice C. (Cliffj McShane was made a vice president pres-ident of Telluride Power Co., in addition to his duties and responsibilities re-sponsibilities as its general manager. Announcement of the new assignment for Mr. McShane was made by H. R. Waldo, president pres-ident of the company. . Mr. McShane entered the. em-1 ploy of the company as a station operator at its Upper Station in i Beaver Canyon more than 4U years ago and has been contin-1 uously in its service since except ex-cept for time spent in the armed forces of t he United States aboard submarines in World War I, and in World War II. He was discharged in 1945 with the rank of full colonel. After steady advancement to the top position in the company's compa-ny's organization in Beaver County, Mr. McShane was transferred trans-ferred to the company's headquarters head-quarters in Richfield in 1950 as assistant tp the general manager, man-ager, in 1952 was made assistant general manager, and in 1954, general manager, in which office of-fice he will continue to serve in addition to that of vice president. pres-ident. In addition to his service with the company, Mr. McShane has an enviable record in civic and community affairs, having served as American Legion post commander, four years each in the Utah House of Representatives Representa-tives and Utah State Senate, six years as a Regent and member of the executive committee of the University oi Utah, having two more years to complete his second appointment; member for four years of the Utah Legislative Legis-lative Council; members of the 60-man Council on Education; president of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce, director direct-or and treasurer of the Associated Associat-ed Civic Clubs of Southern and Eastern Utah, member of the board of directors of the Utah Foundation, and member of the Governor's Committee on Industrial Indus-trial and Employment Planning. Mr. McShane is also a member mem-ber of the Richfield Rotary Club and for many years was active in the Lions Club both in. Richfield and in Beaver County. |
