TATTERSALL of Salt Lake announce the engagement of their daughter, Marilyn, to Mr. Eldon L. Orion, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Clark Orton of Paro-wan. Paro-wan. ' The Tattersalls are former Beaver residents who moved to Salt Lake two years ago. Mr. Orton is employed, by Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Co., and is a student at the University ol Utah, majoring ma-joring in dentistry. The couple plan an early spring wedding. THE BPW CLUB met Jan. 7 at the home of Vie Fothering-ham, Fothering-ham, with President Flossie Johnson conducting the meeting. meet-ing. The program was on National Nation-al Security, and Beaver National Na-tional Guard Capt. Robert D. Osboin was guest speaker. Capt. Osborn gave an interesting inter-esting and informative talk on national security, and also explained ex-plained the duties and activities of the local guard unit. He extended ex-tended an invitation to the BPW to visit the local unit. Refreshments were served following an interesting program, pro-gram, by committee members Mtlba Gregerson, Marva Hepp-ler, Hepp-ler, Anna Bell Hales, Vie Foth-eringham Foth-eringham and Margery Twit-chell. Twit-chell. Agnes Whornham, Vay Mad-sen Mad-sen and Viola Nowers' arranged the program. " ANDERSON CAMP, D U P, met Jan. 7th at the home of Capt. Phyllis Warr. The lesson, on Pioneers who came to Utah 'from South Africa, Af-rica, Islands of the Pacific and South America, was given by Alta Hickmn. Refreshments were served to 14 members and one guest by the hostess. The prize was won by Ida Tattersall- MR. AND MRS. CHARLES LINDSAY entertained their families at dinner during the holidays. Enjoying the occasion occa-sion were Mr. .and Mrs. Dan Lindsay and family of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lindsay and family of Price, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Yardley, and Pat Lindsay.
