Show Mi! ford Seminary ' Notes by RENEE NORTON , The Sweethearts Ball, annual an-nual Seminary formal, was the subject of discussion at the latest lat-est meeting o'f Seminary officers, offi-cers, held Jan. 7. Gayle Edwards Ed-wards will head the committee I on decorations. Three Seminary students participated par-ticipated in the Second Ward evening services, sponsored by the Genealogical society, last Sunday. They were Jerry Ber-ger, Ber-ger, who sang a solo; DeWayne Alger, who gave a talk, and Mary Ann Banks, closed with prayer. Beginning Monday, the 3 o'clock class has been reporting report-ing on the courtship of their parents. Written in case history his-tory form, these reports have related some of the events of their first meeting, leading up to their marriage. (All have been very interesting, some hilariously so). Former Seminary students Ted Bradshaw and Kenny Orr were at home on leave during the Christmas holidays. Mr. Orr is now attending school in Memphis, Tenn., and Mr. Br:id shaw has been transferred to the USS Bayfield. |
