Show NEWS OF YOUR NEIGHBORS IN SOUTH MILFORD By MRS. CLAIR GILLINS Community Club was held Saturday Sat-urday night at the club house. Those present enjoyed a lovely buffet supper planned by Ethel Lee and Alta Sly. Plans were made for the annual fair, to be held on Labor Day, Sept. 7. We invite everyone to get out their best and bring it to the fair. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sherwood and family of American Fork and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Evans and family of Kansas were visitors at the Duard Evans home last week end. Mrs. Bernice Smith and children, Marsha and Theo, are vacationing in Yellowstone Park. Visiting at the Smith home the past two weeks has been Bill Miller of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones and children of Springville are at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stoker. Frank will help with the harvesting harvest-ing of crops at the Jones ranch. Kathy Gillins celebrated her eighth birthday last Sunday with a party for 15 of her little friends. Games were played and exploring the farm was enjoyed by the little folks. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rodgers and daughters Nona and Donna Jean cf Logandale, Nev., were visitors with relatives in Milford and at the Clair Gillins home. Louise Gillins Gil-lins accompanied them on their re-I re-I turn to Logandale, and wjll visit Donna for a week. Mrs. Jeanette Stoker and Steven of Cedar City visited in South Milford Mil-ford last Friday. Terry Lofthouse, Blaine Roberts and Keith Rollins of South Milford will play with the Little League in Cedar City Thursday. The people of South Milford wish them and all other Little Leaguers the best of luck. Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger Jr. and son have been visiting her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger. Don Jr. has returned to his naval base in. Tennessee while his son and wife are staying here for a few months. Joyce Alger, who is working in Salt Lake, spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger. |
