Show Items of Interest About People You Know in Milford and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Monty 'Ashworth, and new baby Xulie. Mi-, and Mrs. H. G. McCarty and three children arrived in Milford Wednesday to spend the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays with Mrs. Annie Denny and son Doug. Mrs. 'Ella Parkinson will entertain enter-tain her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Emal, and two children of Pleasant Grove during the Thanksgiving holidays. Mr. and Mrs. (Roger Aagard and baby made a one-day stop in Milford last Sunday en route to their new home in Salt Lake. Mr. Aagard, a Mountain States employe, em-ploye, has been transferred from St. George to the Capital City. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson Thomp-son and two children (will !be in Salt Lake at the home of Mr. Thompson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Thompson, for Thanksgiving Day. They also will visit Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Warner. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Thompson and three children of California have been in Milford visiting relatives rel-atives and friends. They have been guests , of parents Mrs. Josephine Jos-ephine Thompson and Mr. . and Mrs. Clifford Wadsworth. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holbrook of Tujunga, Calif., visited at t he home of Mrs. Holbrook's mother, Mrs. Josephine Thompson, and with other relatives and friends. A Thanksgiving dinner for the Milford High teachers and partners part-ners was enjoyed at the home of Mrs. Pauline Rummler, Nov. 20. Attending were 29 teachers and partners. .Following the dinner a program, "Teacher for a Day,' was presented, with Mrs. Mary Long as announcer. Participating were David Kurr, Inadale Larson, Arlene Bradshaw, Naomi Hughes. Hostesses were Pauline Rummler Rumm-ler and Glenna Collier. Mr. and (Mrs. 'Clyde Griffiths and daughter are spending the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays in Logan with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Griffiths. Dr. and Mrs. Theodore Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and family, formerly of Milford, have moved to Berkeley, Calif., after living in Price for several years. Mr. 'and Mrs. Perry Olsen and two sons of Richfield are spending spend-ing Thanksgiving in Milford with Mrs. Olsen's mother, Mrs. Vern Albert. David Tanner left Monday for Whittier, Calif., where he will spend a week with his son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Tanner. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline left Sunday to spend a few days in Po-catello, Po-catello, Idaho, with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gillies. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Persons are in Glendora, Calif., to be with their daughter Mrs. Robert Green, who underwent an operation. The couple will remain in California until after the first of the year. Mrs. Kent Smith has returned to Milford after a week's visit in Salt Lake with a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs .Grant Morby. Mrs. Morby and children are spending the Thanksgiving (holidays at the ' Smith home in Milford. Mrs. David Coleman returned to Milford Wednesday after a four day visit with her brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hollinger. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Prodvinski have returned to Milford to make their home after living in Battle Mountain, Nev. Mrs. Prodvinski is the former Sheila Coleman. They are living in the rental apartment apart-ment of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stewart. Stew-art. V. G. Van Horn, of Grand Junction, Junc-tion, Colo., will 'be in Milford this irtin His wife. Alice, and they will be accompanied back to Grand Junction by Mrs. Van Horn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wynaught. Mrs. Lena Morris is at home after spending a week in Ogden with a son and daughter in law, Mr and Mrs. Foster Morris, and friends Mr. and -Mrs. Ed Hewitt Mrs. Morgan Griffiths is in Salt Lake to toe with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller, who recently lost a daughter. daugh-ter. Steve Williams received word Monday of the death of his mother, 'Mrs. Jennie L. Williams, in Day-tona Day-tona Beach, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth recently returned to Milford from Orem, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Don Ashworth and children. Dr. and (Mrs. G. C. Clark and three children of Glendale, Calif., are spending the Thanksgiving holidays at the home of Dr. and Mrs. D. A. Symond. The Harold Clines will return to Milford this week after a three month vacation tour of Europe. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. White and Mr. and Mrs. OR.. B. Colborn attended at-tended the intermountain meeting of the Utah State Firemen. Rev. Mrs. Myrtle White was called to Boise, Idaho, because of the serious illness of a brother. Mrs. James Mash and two children chil-dren and Ned Kohler, who is attending at-tending the B Y U, are spending the Thanksgiving holidays at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler. A DAUGHTER, named Jolene, was born Oct. 25 in the Beaver County Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Duard Nay of Milford. Mrs. Maurine Johnson and Warren War-ren Fernley are in Caliente with their mother, Mrs. William Feri Day. They also will visit Mr. and Mr. Johnson will join the family for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes are in Portland, Ore., spending the Thanksgiving holidays with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Hughes. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tribole and son of Bountiful are Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole. Trib-ole. Virginia Baxter is in Milford with her mother, Mrs. Ada Baxter. Bax-ter. Virginia has been vacationing vacation-ing in Phoenix, Ariz., and stopped in Milford en route to her home in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth will leave Milford next week for Washington, D. C, to spend the Christmas holidays with their son |
