Show THIS WEEK IN WINERSV1LLE By Mrybelle Eyre Mrs. Rachel Hunt of Cedar City has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Effie Marshall, the past four days. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman were in Salt Lake from Thursday untill Saturday attending a State School Board convention. Literary Club met Monday at the home of Mrs. Frieda Wood. Cohostess was Mrs. Bonnie Myers. Mrs. Eleanor Marshall presented a piano solo and the book review was given by Mrs. Melba Baker. Following the book review elections elec-tions were held for the coming year. Mrs. Bernice Gillins was elected president, Mrs. Vivian Marshall, vice president, and Mrs. Marybelle Eyre, secretary. They succeed Mrs. Reva Albrecht, retiring re-tiring president; Mis. Phyllis Truman, Tru-man, vice president, and Mrs. Ef. fie Marshall, sercetary. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served to 13 members. Mr. and Mrs. Dale XcUen have been here visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs. Newell Carter, and other relatives. They have now gone to Wyoming to visit relatives and friends, and will depart for Japan early in December. Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers enjoyed en-joyed an early Thanksgiving dinner din-ner on Saturday when all then-children then-children were home. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Art Myers and four children, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter and five .children, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Myers and three children, and Mrs. Sally Smith and son. Lee Smith joined the family Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Max Carter v.vre in Salt Lake Saturday seeking medical attention. On Monday Mrs. Carter was admitted to the Beaver County Hospital at Milford. Mil-ford. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Bohn are happy to have their family all home for the Thanksgiving weekend. week-end. Visiting them are Mr. and Mrs. Leland Jones and family of Oregon, Mr. and Mrs. Kurtt Bonn and family of Las Vegas, and Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Bohn. Mrs. Eleanor Marshall arid Mrs. Bemice Giilins were speakers in Sacrament services Sunday evening. eve-ning. Miss Kathleen Davis played a piano solo. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Terry and baby girl were here for a few days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Davis and family were here visiting his mother, Mrs. Eulalia Davis, Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre were business visitors in iEly over the week end. |
