Show Mrs. Nola Pearce and son Raynor spent last week end in Long Beach as guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Windsor. President and Mrs. Wallace Yardley and family enjoyed an overnight visit Saturday by Mrs. Yardley's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. T. Ray Theurer, and their three daughters, of Providence. Mrs. S. J. Price of Salt Lake has been a visitor at the home of her brother, Isador Lessing, the past month. She plans to return to her home this week end. During her stay she has been a dinner guest at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lessing and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lessing. Visiting Mrs. Charles Lindsay Lind-say and family last week were j Mr. and Mrs. Alan Lindsey, their daughter Patricia and her family from Bell, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mathews Math-ews and family of Kelso, Cal., were recent visitors at the home of their sister, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Nowers and family, fam-ily, and also enjoyed a week camping in the Beaver Mountains. Moun-tains. Visitors this week at the Nowers home were Mrs. Nowers' Now-ers' brother, Davie Mathews, and wife of Salt Lake, and her prand mother, Mrs. V. D. Soencer. They were joined on Thursday by Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mathews and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gillins of Miners-ville Miners-ville for an outing at.Ponder-osa at.Ponder-osa Park. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Farns-worth Farns-worth and children visited for several days last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. ALTON ATKIN announce the en- gagement of their daughter, Janet, to Mr. Ronald Bess, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Bess of Parowan. The nuptial date will be announced later. MR. AND MRS. AUS-MOND AUS-MOND WILLDEN of Scipio announce the engagement of their daughter, Leola, to Mr. Merrill W. Yardley, son c I Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Yardley of Beaver.. The wedding will take place August 23 at the L D S Church in Scipio. An open house honoring the couple will be held in Beaver August 27. MR. AND MRS. GEORGE C. MURDOCK entertained st a family outdoor party Monday evening, August. 4. Attending were all their i children and grandchildren living in Beaver, a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dwiijht Carter and children of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bolton Bol-ton returned to Beaver Sunday Sun-day evening from a three-week three-week trip to Florida, where they had gone to attend funeral fun-eral services for Mr. Bolton's mother, Mrs. Lillie Bolton of Crsetview, Fla. Janice Vickers spent last week with relatives in Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Terry and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Christensen and families visited vis-ited several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Sumner Murdok in Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Blackburn in ' Minersville.
