Items of Interest About People You Know in Milford Mrs. Elizabeth Martin left Wednesday Wed-nesday on a month's vacation trip. She will visit nieces and sisters in law in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Burbank, Calif., and at Carlsbad, New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Whiteside spent several days last week visiting vis-iting friend.i and relatives in Moab. They were met there by Mr. Whiteside's brother in law and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hart of Albuquerque, New Mex. The two couples visited many points of interest including Dead Horse Point and the Arches National Na-tional Monument, und enjoyed a picnic outing in the LaSal Mountains Moun-tains with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stapley and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Epperson, all of Las Vegas, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Grim-shaw Grim-shaw at their cabin in the Beaver Beav-er Mountains. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Grimshaw will leave this week end for the northern part of the state. After a visit there with children- they will visit Mr. anl Mrs. Doug Far-now Far-now in Las Vegas and spend the remainder of their vacation at their cabin in the Beaver Mountains. Moun-tains. Mrs. Erma Cline is in St. Louis, Mo., visiting her son in law and daughter, Mr. -and Mrs. M. D. Madsen and chidlren. Mr. and Mrs. John Weston have returned froma trip ,to Las Vegas where they visited at the home of a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Palmer, and with a nephew of Mrs. Weston, Mr, and Mrs. Don Carson. Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth, accompanied ac-companied toy Mrs. Smyth's sister, Mrs. Mary Crookston of Wray, are touring Colorado, Canada and Washington. In Washington they will visit the ladies' brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. K. M. Sehow, at Bellingham. Gladys Shingleton is a guest of Mrs. Jennie Martin during her stay In Milford. 0 Mr. and Mrs. A. L. MojDonald are vacationing in Victor, Idaho, with friends, and at Healsburg, Calif., will toe guests of their son and daughter in law, Dr. and Mrs. William McDonald. Vaughn McDonald has completed complet-ed his summer ft O T C training and is now at his home in Salt Lake. Mrs. McDonald, who had toeen in the Beaver County Hospital Hos-pital for observation, returned to her home accompanied y Mrs. Dee Ferguson and daughter Mickie. The Fergusons have returned re-turned to Milford. Jack Firmage, serving with the U S Navy in California, visited ifriends in Milford Monday en route to a naval school in Oh-cago. Oh-cago. Mrs. Firmage and their new baby girl, toorn July 6, will join Jack at a later date. Mr. and Mrs. William Miller and family of Glendale, Calif., have been visiting ifriends Mr. and Mrs. Fay Bradfield. While here the group spent a few days at Fanguitch Lake and picnicking in the Beaver Mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Bradfield, accompanied ac-companied by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bradfield of Salt Lake, left for Kansas City, Mo to toe with Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Hegland. Donald Munk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Munk, left Thursday for Grand Canyon, where he will be employed until Sept. 30. Mr. and Mr.s.
