Show Henry P. Green The Beaver First Ward Chapel Chap-el was filled to capacity Tuesday Tues-day afternoon for the funeral services for Henry Percy (Harry) (Har-ry) Green, 73, who died at his home in North Creek of pneumonia, pneu-monia, Saturday, March 22. Mr. Green was born Oct. 2b. 1884, in London, England, to John and Alice Waight Green. He came to Utah with his parents par-ents when 3 years old, and received re-ceived his ed itvtion in Beaver. He was an active Elder in the L D S Church. A dairy iarmer and livestock raiser, he was pre?''-' of the North Creek Cattle and Horse Association, and was one of the-first the-first men to file on the Blue Lake Reservoir. He married Oweneva Grover on June 3, 1919. She died Dee 12, the same year. He married Sylvia Twitchell Baker on Oct 5, 1922, in the Salt Lake Temple. Tem-ple. She died June 28, 1930. Bishop Leroy Harris conducted the services and announced an-nounced the program as follows: fol-lows: Prelude and postlude, Clara -irter. Invocation, Joseph Nelson. Nel-son. Song, "Oh My Father," by a quartet, Kent Morgan, Milo Baker, Esta Cox and Anona Swindlehurst; Ira Yardley made appropriate remarks and Lavel Brads'haw eulogized the life of Mr. Green. Joy Payne sang "Beyond "Be-yond the Sunset," accompanied by Ruth Wood. Anona Swindlehurst Swin-dlehurst and Esta Cox sang "The End of a Perfect Day," and John Ashworth of the bishopric pronounced pro-nounced the benediction. The grave in Mountain View Cemetery was dedicated by Shirley Baker. Pallbearers were Ray Dell Evans, Baker Erick-son, Erick-son, Ronald and Dan Baker, David Da-vid Hamilton and Dan Jepper-son. Jepper-son. Flowers were in charge of Zona Myers and Lynnea Hood, and grandchildren. He is survived by a sister, Edna Crosby, Beaver; three brothers, John Green, American Ameri-can Fork; James and Sidney Green, California; six stepsons and stepdaughters, Raymond and Byron Baker, Draper; Shirley Shir-ley Baker, Provo; Mrs. Dale Evans, Beaver; Mrs. Luella Rollins Rol-lins and Mrs. Nola Morris, Orem. |
