Show - Warren C. Thompson Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Friday afternoon in the BeaverSecond Ward church for Warren C. Thompson, 52, who died July 8th in a Cedar City, hospital after a lengthy illness. Bishop Chase H. Murdock was in charge of the services and announced an-nounced the program. Speakers j were A. Carlos Murdock and I Allen C. Reynolds. j The invocation was by Clark Smith,, and the . benediction by Stake President Wallace D. Yardley. The prayer at the home, preceding the services, i was said by Melbourne Hesling-ton, Hesling-ton, and Dee Stapley dedicated the grave in Mountain View : cemetery. Mrs. Chase Murdock was in charge of the flower girls, who were close i'riends of the deceased and i'amily. At the time of his death Mr. Thompson was a member of the Beaver Stake high council, and he had been an active church worker throughout his life. He had also been prominent in civic clubs, having been president of the Beaver Lions club, and held other offices in the club. An ardent ar-dent Sportsman, he was active in developing the recreational fa-- fa-- cilities of the Beaver Mountains. People from out of town who attendedthe funeral included Mr. and Mrs. H. C.
