Show t BEAVER CHURCH NEWS The Sunday evening meeting in the Second ward was presented pre-sented by the Primary, with, a program as follows: Prayer, Gaye Seaman; two songs by the Primary children, with Carol Carter as chorister and Ha Messinger, accompanist; talks by Esta Cox and Louise Roberts; Rob-erts; a flannel board demonstration demonstra-tion by Maxine Fotheringham: report of Home Building, Kath-ryn Kath-ryn Blackham; piano solo, Maria Spendlove; Trailbuilding demonstration, Irene Cox, assisted as-sisted by the Trekkers and Blazers of the ward; prayer, Christina Dalton. Carolyn Esplin was accompanist accompa-nist for the songs, and the program pro-gram was under direction of Carol Smith. The teacher training meeting for the Second Ward Primary association was held in the Relief Re-lief Society rooms of the Second Sec-ond Ward chapel. Gaye Seaman led the lesson, and the scripture reading was given by Christina Dalton. Erma Hoopes conducted conduct-ed the meeting, and refreshments refresh-ments were served by Irene Cox, Ha Messinger, Eris Nielsen Niel-sen and Mima Erickson. The Lark class of the Second Ward Primary entertained their parents and other guests at a program in the Relief Society rooms Sunday, May 5th. The party was held to acquaint ac-quaint the parents with the Lark program, and to show them what the girls have accomplished accomp-lished this year. The room was beautifully decorated with spring flowers and pictures the girls had made. The following program was presented under direction of Laura Smith, teacher: Prayer, Jill Willden; Lark Code, class in unison; talk, Linda Brinkerhoff; talk, Jill Willden, story, Gloria Griffiths; story, Rita Sue Warby; song, class; prayer, Linda Brinkerhoff. Refreshments were served to a large group including parents, the ward bishopric, stake and ward Primary leaders. |
