Show Makes Honor Roll The honor roll of outstanding students at Dixie College for the winter school quarter was released this week by Mr. B. Glen Smith, registrar at the school. High honor students included Phyllis Baker of Beaver, a freshman. Mr. and Mrs. George Spain-hower Spain-hower of La Havra, Calif., were here visiting last week. Mrs. S. C. Scott of Lagrand, Ore., has been in Milford the past week at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Blair Coon. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Rob rts of Van Nuys, Calif., have been in Milford at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Kirk. They left for their home Monday. I gl I I I III ! ! I ' I North Creek By MRS. WM. TWITCHELL Mr. and Mrs. Royal Wood and sons o'f Henderson, Nev., spent last week end at the Martin Mar-tin Green home. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Green and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Green and family visited last Sunday at Milford with the families of John and Usher Wilcock. Mr. Green is recovering from injuries suffered last week in a freak accident with a road truck. Mrs. Leroy Griffiths of Salt Lake City spent Monday at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Green. Walter Griffiths and son were in Milford visiting relatives rela-tives and friends last week. Mrs. J. C. Smith plans to visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holm, in Cedar City. Byron Pullem is attending a radio technician school in Salt Lake City. Mrs. I. Altman and Mrs. Lois Altman motored to Las Vegas and spent several days last week. ' Mrs. Jack B. Kirk and : her three children of Resede, ! Calif, are in Milford and Min-ersville. Min-ersville. Mrs. Kirk's father, Andy Hollingshead, is a patient at the Milford hospital. While in Milford she is staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Kir.k. Mr. and Mrs. Guandell Banks and family spent last week end in Perris, Calif., with their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. De Mar Banks. De Mar will leave this week end for a three months mission to Guam. Mrs. Jack Dvis and two children returned home Monday after spending a week visiting in Whittier. Calif.
