Show i : ENTERTAIN AT DINNER Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Johnson entertained with a tasty turkey dinner, in honor of Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Murdock, who left Tuesday for Santa Rosa, Calif., to jcui her husband. Others enjoying the otitur were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Johnson and children and Mr. and Mrs. J R. Murdock of Mil-ford; Mil-ford; Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Johnson and family, and Mrs. Christina Baldwin. FIVE HUNDRED CLUB Mrs. Bonnie Nowers entertained enter-tained the Five Hundred Club last Thursday. Prizes were won by Deone George, Eddie Hodges and Monna Lou Gentry. The hostess served tasty refreshments re-freshments to eight members. THE BETTER HOMES CLUB met at the home of Mrs. Lucille Hofhiens, last Wednesday. Program for the evening was under the direction 'of Mrs. Ila Messinger, who took the group to the Beaver High School to hear the drama presented by the speech students, after which the club members returned to Mrs. Hofhiens' home and enjoyed en-joyed a plate lunch served to 14 members by the hostess. MRS. AUDREY HUTCHINGS entertained the Nimble Thimble Club last Wednesday. The group attended the drama at Beaver High School, later enjoying dainty refreshments served to nine members by the hostess. j THE BEAVER BOOK CLUB was entertained at the home of Mrs. Arvilla Swindlehurst last Wednesday. Mrs. Lucy Osborne gave a review re-view of the book "Foolish Immortals", Im-mortals", which was greatly enjoyed. Tasty refreshments were served to 12 members and one guest, Mrs. Lucy Osborne. The next meeting of the club will be hosted by Miss Anna Stark. KAYE MCMULLIN BECOMES BRIDE OF WALLACE ADAMS In a uouble ling ceremony in the Beaver Third Ward Chapel Friday evening, Mar -h 22, Miss Kayo' Christina McMullin became be-came the bride of Wallace C. Adams. 0"fieinting at the ceremony cere-mony was Walter Kerksiek, Bishop of the Third Ward. The brirle is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McMullin McMul-lin of Beaver. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Adams of Cedar City. The new Mrs. Adams was lovely in a gown of Chantilly laco fashioned with pleated tulle over nylon net and taffeta. A tiara of seed pearls held her finger-tip veil of illusion, and she carried a white orchid surrounded sur-rounded with pink rosebuds. Miss Mary Jo McMullin was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ann Eyre and Mrs. Marilyn Smith, with Doreen McMullin, also a sister of the bride, as junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Judy Wade and Debby Adams, nieces of the bridegroom. Gene Adams was best man for his brother, and ushers were Gordon Eyre, Connell Smith and Phil Beeson. Following the wedding, a reception re-ception in the Third Ward amusement hall honored the newlyweds. Dancing was enjoyed, en-joyed, and an interesting program pro-gram was directed by James Morgan. Delicious ice cream and cake were served to 300 guests. After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nev., and Albuquerque, Albuquer-que, New Mexico, the young couple will make their home in Cedar City. Attending from out of town were Mrs. Ida Smith, Warren Johnson and daughter Linda of Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth i Wade, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace I Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Eve Linn Adams, Mrs. Ethel Blacknec.
