Installation of P-T- A officers rection of Mrs. V. S. Barlow held a special lesson night Tuesday evening. The girls gave their own lesson by each giving talks. The les.son was on music and the L.D.S. Choir in Salt Lake City. Miss Joan Johnson render-ed a solo "Oh My Father". At-tending were Joan Cowdell, Barbara Brown, Maxine Garrett, Rena Joy Coleman, Bobbie Lee Johnson, Dorothy Garrett, Veria Dickcrson, Joe-An- Anderson, Connie Smith. Joyce DeCol and Kay Lou Cook. Mrs. Floyd Gra-ham directed the girls in their singing. Last Friday evening a swim-ming party was enjoyed at Sara-toga by the boys and girls of Mrs. Albert Cheever's class at Cnnpprton LDS Ward. Attending jfor next year will take place with Mrs. Ralph Evans, retiring president of the Jordan P-T- A Council, doing the installing. In-dividual room art exhibits will also be on display. The sixth grade will give the program and assist with serving of refresh-ments. The public is cordially in-vited. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Chxisten-se- n visited in Salt Lake City Wednesday with Mr. Christen-sen'- s brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Christensen. Spending Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol were Mr. and Mrs. Earl DeCol and family of Riverton. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Densley ad daughter Cindy of Sandy were Monday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol and family. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Buckle and daughter of Salt Lake are City now living in their new home in Magna. Literature meeting of Copper-to- n Ward Relief Society will 'be held next Tuesday at 10 ajn. in the Copperton wardhouse. Les-- : son will be given by Mrs. Owen Crump. Bishop and Mrs. Henry A. Just recently she was elected prefect of the So-dality of Our Lady group at the academy. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goff attend-ed a wedding reception given for Glade Mott and Patsy Stew-art at the LDS Ward at Ephraim. They were overnight guests of Mr. and 'Mrs. Bill Stewart at the B and G Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Ross M. Cushing were dinner guests and spent the evening Sunday with Mrs. Cush-ing- 's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carey of Midvale. All locations are from SLB&M. Kemvecott Copper Corporation, 714 Kearns Bldg., Salt Lake City, Ut. proposes to change the nature of use of 5 sec.-f- t. of water initiated by Applica-tion No. 22&80. The,water was to be diverted from 3 wells at the following points: (1) S. 26'13'E. 1694.6 ft.; (2) S. 2420'E. 1809.5 ft.; (3) S. 22o40'E. 1926.9 ft., all from NVi Cor. Sec. 18, T3S, R2W. The water was to be used for precipitation of copper and other minerals and content of value from waste dumps. Sec. 8, T3S, R2W, and used for service station op-eration, sanitation, cleaning, fire fighting and all uses around the establishment. Hereafter, .033 sec.-f- t. is to be diverted from a n. well 220 ft. deep at a point N. 100 ft. and E. 1530 ft. from SW Cor. Sec. 8, T3S, R2W, and used for the same pur-poses as described above. Protests resisting the granting of any of the foregoing applica-tions with reasons therefor, must be made in affidavit form with extra copy and filed with the State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City 14, Utah, on or before June 10, 1956.
