Garold Burko, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Burke, arrived home Tuesday, November 2, on a two weeks' leave. He is stationed sta-tioned at the naval training cen-, ter at San Diego, Calif. Upon his return there at the end of his leave he will be assigned to the USS Rochester. Mr. and Mrs. Royce Miya and daughter Joyce Ann of Lead Mine were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Kawaguchi and children, Billy and Rose. Host and hostess to a family gathering on Sunday, October 31 were Mr. and Mrs. Max Withers of Midvale. The occasion was in honor of the 23rd wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Uoyd Miller of Copperfield. Besides Be-sides the host and hostess and honored guests others present were the honored guests' sons, Sherman and Brent, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Miller and Mr, and Mrs. Doan Nichols of Clearfield. Cpl. Faul Bapis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bapis, is home on a 35-day furlough. On his return |
