Show j LOCAL NOTES Army Home Town News Center, Cen-ter, Kansas City, Mo. Kobe, Japan Army Pfc Gilbert R. Vigil, son of Mrs. Alice D. Chilly, Bingham Canyon, recently spent a seven-day rest and recuperation recupera-tion leave at Camp Kobe, Japan, from his unit in Korea. Sightseeing Sight-seeing and entertainment facilities facili-ties at Camp Kobe provided Vigil Vig-il with a welcome break in the task of maintaining security in Korea, where he is a member of Company B with the 62d Engineer Engi-neer Construction Battalion. A 1952 graduate of Ute Vocational School, he entered the army in February 1953 and arrived overseas over-seas the following August. Mrs. Dorlesca Kenner of Salt Lake City spent Friday and Saturday Sat-urday at the home of her daughter dau-ghter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Reid. Mrs. Letha Ham and Mrs. Ann Hennings were co-hostesses to the Fire Auxiliary last Monday night at No. 2 hall. A delicious luncheon was served after which bridge was played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Bessie West, Mrs. Donna Bell and Mrs. Irene Anderson. And-erson. Hostess Monday, November Novem-ber 8th, will be Mrs. Ruth Householder. House-holder. The meeting will be held at No. 1 hall. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Carl and family fa-mily of Idaho Falls, Idaho, spent last week end visiting with Mrs. Carl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph McDonald, and sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Milner and family of Copperton. |
