The following SALARIED positions opened this week at Weber State University: Circulation supervisor/courier - Provide regularly scheduled patron assistance at the Davis and Stewart libraries' public services desks. - Provide courier service for the transfer of library materials between the two libraries. - Process and maintain access to the Davis Library reserve collection. - Create, process and deliver physical and digital copies of Stewart Library materials to other libraries as requested. - Process interli- brary loan requests to borrow materials from other libraries for WSU patrons. - Maintain an orderly physical envi ronment of the Davis Library and its collection that is conducive to study and research. Diversity program coordinator - The CDU diversity program coordinator will be responsible for program coordination, student advisement, event planning, office needs, and general office and field projects in addition to other duties as assigned. The coordinator works to help students explore issues of diversity, including but not limited to culture, ability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, class, political affiliation, national origin and sexual orientation. This individual is charged with helping prepare students to learn, lead and serve in a diverse and changing world. The diversity program coordinator also works directiy with LGBT Resources, its students and programming activities. This position reports directly to the CDU coordinator and serves as a liaison to Student Involvement and Leadership. Disability specialist (Davis) - Individual will facilitate individualized academic accommodation plans to ensure equal educational opportunity for individuals with disabilities, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable regulations for higher education. Development director I (Academic Affairs and Annual Fund) - Weber State University (WSU, weber.edu) seeks a dynamic, engaging, self-motivated individual to become a development director for Academic Affairs and the Annual Fund. The development director will work with the Stewart Library, honors program, Bachelors of Integrated Studies program and Office of Undergraduate Research in planning private fund- raising strategies, identifying and qualifying prospective donors, maintaining and advancing relationships with prospects and donors, soliciting gifts, and stewarding previous gifts. The development director will also oversee the university's Annual Fund program, which seeks continuing, unrestricted gifts from $10 to $5,000. Responsibilities: - Meet with current and prospective donors and organize activities to increase WSU's connection to its donors for the Stewart Library, honors program, BIS program, Office of Undergraduate Research and Annual Fund. - Solicit donor prospects via comprehensive personal conversations and written proposals containing pledge/ gift agreements. - Plan the Annual Fund calendar, including the oversight of direct mail, email, social media and phone-a-thon campaigns. - Work collaboratively to develop creative messaging Annual Fund campaigns. - Track progress against goals. - Develop cultivation and stewardship events for prospective and current donors. The position reports to the executive director of development and works collaboratively with the University Development team. Development director I (Goddard School of Business & Economics) - Weber State University (WSU, www.weber.edu) seeks a dynamic, engaging, self-motivated individual to become a second development director for the John B. Goddard School of Business & Economics (GSBE, www.weber. edu/sbe). Reporting to Weber State University's executive director for development, the development director will work with the GSBE development team to achieve fundraising goals and engage sponsors in ongoing activities. This includes leveraging key relationships and contacts to ensure that fundraising goals are met. Responsibilities: - Under the leadership of the dean, development management and other development staff assigned to GSBE, co- create and implement an annual fundraising plan and strategy. - Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential corporate and foundation sponsors. - Manage the Goddard Investors program, which includes identifying and securing different levels of sponsorship from companies and individuals throughout Utah. - Manage the GSBE Young Alumni program, which includes soliciting GSBE alumni for annual gifts and planning meaningful networking opportunities for alumni who have graduated in the last 10 years. - Write grant proposals and reports to corporate, foundation and government funders. - Develop and grow GSBE's individual donor base via active and documented outreach into the community and the GSBE alumni base. - Plan and execute large and small events for donors, alumni and friends of Weber State University. - Solicit donor prospects via comprehensive written proposals containing pledge/gift agreements at levels up to $1,000,000.
