Men's indoor track awarded its Most Valuable Athlete award Utah Jazz commentary By Joe Wren Signpost sports editor Believe it or not, the Utah Jazz have an excellent sR"M advancing to the NBA r III Of course,- that would require a two games to none rally pastSeattleintheWesternCon- ;;;;iiokat it this way, did any of you actually think Utah i would roll into Key Arena arid unlock an opening series and win less than two days after a game 7 victory over San Antonio in Salt Lake Gty?;M:f : ; Thejazzdidrnanageagood : fight, and probably shouldhave won game two. Still, no problem. A Utah win would have pumped the Sonics up enough 't to steal a win, or two, at the Delta Center. This way, Utah " will have the motivation and I proper frame of mind to win L the next two games. : : : p The other key factor is likely the most critical factor in the series-the officials. Based on what I saw in game 2, I'm convinced the ref s plan is to give thejazzeverycortceivablebreak toward winning the series. Look for a close first half Friday night, and an eventual JazzlOpointwin. Sunday could be a problem. If Utah can win fliatgamethey'llwintlieseries and face the Bulls in the Finals. to Bob Evans.
