Show MEDITATION I'll follow mo longer, the gilded . Butterfly But will Mtiile as it passes me by I'll follow no longer, the evil days that stain the past But make each day, happier and better than the last, I'll rejoice in the dawn, when the day begins, Not rush to see a reed, shaken by the wind, I'll sorrow no longer, because the man I was, is gone Nor wait by the gate, the moon shines on, I'll pity no more the sighs and sobs in the night When the deeds of the body, has caused their plight. Nor wander in search of a dazzling daz-zling light But will rejoice in nature's glorious glor-ious sight, I'll sit in the sun, by a lily decked pool And .'.mile at the man, and his eyes will be blue, And the face in the water, will be tender and true, Will rejoice that the man, who used to be Is the man at peace with the world , Who is smiling at me. I There is something in nature that speaks to the something in; i me in a language noblier than j : human words, I find peace in I nature's vast cathedral where God in nature is to be found. ! j Edward Heather i I o |
