This happened about a year and a half ago. She remembers clearly how worried she was about her future, how was she to support herself and her baby? Where would she put her child while she worked to support the two of them? Could she trust the person she placed in charge of the care of her child? With all these and many more questions running through her mind, she moved to Houston, Texas, to live with her married sister until she was well enough to take up her profession as a registered nurse. It advised "Living in Day Tight Com- CARNEGIE parttnents," or In other words, when you are trou- . bled to live just one day at a time with no thought of the yesterdays or the tomorrows. She fnlluwed that advice and did her work to the best of her ability. She declares now that her worries are over. Her child Is well cared for, she has u wonderful position In a doctor's office, and she is free of mental strain. Just living a day at a time made everything come right for her. |
