He also belongs to the Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity and the Society of Logistics Engineers. He was the 1983 Homecoming King. JatTtl Jones is a junior family relations major. She is the ASWSC student services vice president. She is involved in LDSSA and Lambda Delta Sigma, and in the Special Olympics, March of Dimes, and Junior Achievement. Candadal Stthacharl is director of general education and a professor of English. He received hia B.A. at Osmania University in India, and his Ph.D. from the University of Utah. He is a member and past president of Phi Kappa Phi. Thomas Welch was a WSC business administration graduate in 1969. He received his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University. Presently he is senior VPLegal counsel for the Smith Management Corporation. A JM. Oen Hover is a senior majoring in zoology. He is a member of the WSC scholastic society and was selected outstanding AFROTC cadet in 1984 by the Utah Air Force Association. He served as natural sciences senator in 1982-83. .1 l , - . Bob Bate man is a senior political science student. He is WSC Concert Choir vice president and Pi Kappa Alpha fundraising chairman. He has been involved with many fraternity, college and community activities. CI Laurie Bonnell, a senior majoring in business administration, is ASWSC cultural vice president. She is a member of Phi Beta Lambda, La Dianaeda sorority, and the National Scholastic Society. Richard Sadler graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D., all in history. He has served as chairman of the WSC faculty senate. He has been a professor at Weber State since 1969. Nolan Karrai is a 1970 WSC business finance graduate. He received his master's degree from the University of Utah. He is president of the Karras and Associates company. He has been a state representative since 1980. Brad Bushman is president of the psychology honor society. He is a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the sociology honor society, and the social science honor society. He is listed in Who's Who. John Wilcox, a senior majoring in applied physics, is president of the WSC Chapter of the National Homebuilders Association. He is a member of the Natural Sciences Area Council and the Society of Physics Students. I - Kathryn Kendell is a political science senior. She is active in foren-sics and qualified in four events for the National Invitational Events Tournament. She serves as public relations vice president for the WSC debate squad. Daniel Utchford holds a B.S. in marketing and distributive education and a M.S. from Utah Stat University. He received his Ed.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and University. He has been at WSC for 13 years. Dick Huntakr graduated from WSC in 1977 with a psychology degree. He went on to receive a M.ED, from BYU in educational psychology. He has been WSC's assistant basketball coach since 1977. ear- Joan WIICOX is a senior English major who has served as the Signpost editor. She is listed in Who's Who, is on the National Deans' List, and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi. She has accepted a teaching aseistantship at Purdue University. w.o ....j4a) i A 1 3 v Stuart Thatcher is a senior majoring in communications, computer informations systems, and military science. He was editor-in-chief of the WSC yearbook Acorn, as well as the ROTC newspaper. He is an officer in the Array ROTC. Donna Layton is a public relations major. She is involved in the Signpost as the year-end supplement editor and has served as managing editor. She is WSC Concert Choir president and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Daniel Qallego is a sociology professor who has taught at WSC since 1971. He graduated with a B.S. from BYU and received his doctorate at Utah State University. Last year be was president of the Hispanic Council on Aging. Jeffrey Flamm graduated from WSC in 1977 with a business management degree. Presently he is a financial consultant. He has served on the WSC Alumni board of directors and on the Young Alumni Council.Diane Wilson is studying zoology. She belongs to Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Epsilon Delta. For two years she was president of the Weber State Singers. In 1982, she received a music B.S. and was chosen as the outstanding music graduate. LiQ..'i Brad Howell is a junior political science major. He is the AS WSC president. He has served as the vice chairman for the Utah Council of Studentbody Presidents and as a WSC social science senator. Olnny Wright, at .childhood education major, is a specialist for the WSC Services for Disabled Students. She has served as "Week of the Young Child" chairwoman and as special program designer for the deaf. Bandy Chatelaln is an assistant professor in the child and family studies department. He is a WSC alumni and received his M.S. and Ph.D. from BYU. He has been at WSC since 1981. ffOOpO Hashimoto graduated from WSC in 1975 with a degree in French and a minor in chemistry and zoology. She received an M.D. from the University of Utah. She is chief resident at the University of Iowa in the Dept. of Pediatrics. Joy Schoenecker is an oral communicationbusiness management senior. She is listed in Who a Who, is on the National Deans' List, and is a member of the WSC honors program. She is editor of the Rockwell International Newsletter. I early L |
