By Dot Johnson According to a belief which existed among English peasantry, birds choose their mates at St. Vtl-entine's Day. "So what" you say. But did you know that during the ancient Roman Feast of the Lupercalia held near St. Val's Day, it was customary for Roman youths o draw stone tablets from an urn. On each tablet was inscribed the name of a maiden to whom he was supposed to devote himself for a year. Of course now maybe you can see a little connection between that and a vital issue here at Weber the Preference Ball. One big difference is that the odds aren't quite what they were with the Romans; it's only for one dance. Perhaps some Prince Charming may find his Cinderella. At any rate, there's no better time to become acquainted than now. And just for the record, the theme of the dance is "Lavendar and Old Lace" not "Arsenic and Old Lace," as some felows havle been referring to it. No sense or humor, I guess. As a certain Amy J. would say, "At ease, disease.'' X Beautiful Flowers - Fresh Daily V) Are Used in Our fi y "Sunshine Corsages" t) S You Oan Count on Something Exclusive 7 y When You Order from Us.
