Show Poison By nistake. J. R. Michels the druggist has had an experience that nearly cost him his life. On Wednesday afternoon at his drug store he drank water out of a glass that had contained strychnine, believing believ-ing the glass to be clean. The effects were-not noticed until about 9 p.m., when his wife, wondering why he remained re-mained so long in the yard where he had gone, found him near the corral quite sick. She assisted him into the house, where he fell upon the floor in a strong convulsion; so strong did the convulsions become that four men with difficulty held him. Dr. Aflleck was sent for and worked with him until all danger was passed. He is now recovering recover-ing nicely, |
