Most of the. men of this town started for the sawmill on the 3rd inst., to work awhile for the benefit of the place. On Tuesday, the 3rd inst., the wife of Edwin Jones gave birth to aline girl which weighed ten pounds, Mother and babe doing nicely. On Monday evening, the 2nd inst., the Mutual gave an entertainment which was for the close. It was a success, suc-cess, altho the wind was bad, The parts were well rendered. The Mutual has been a success this winter; they completed the Manual the first of April,
