We were favored with a call yesterday yester-day from the Misses Elanor Bigler and Nell Macfarlane of St. George, who are visiting in the city, Marion Paris and George Angell with their families passed through town last wreck Friday on their way home to Leeds from the lake. The cases of scarlet fever reported last week are improving nicely, one of the two patients having recovered almost al-most entirely. No more cases are reported, re-ported, R. C. Lund Jr.. returned from Salt Lake Saturday, coming by way of Deer Lodge. Nevada, where he had business. Mr. Lund made the drive from Desert Springs in one day, arriving here in gooel seson, Dr. Clift favored us with a pleasant call on his way home to St. George from the lako last Saturday. While here the Doctor made arrangements lor accomodations for his two sons and a Daughter, who will attend the Branch Normal next winter. Mrs. Mary Whitehead and Mrs. Ed. Christian, with their children, came up from Dixie the firs', of the week. The latter spent a day or two visiting her husband, who is one of the plasti-ru-s in the Normal School building-, ami the former will spend the remainder of the hot weather in this vicinity with relatives, rela-tives, her health having given way in Dixie on account of the unusual warm we a tiler.
