It rained on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the ground g.etting a good soaking. Farmers are jubilant as some of the wheat fields had nearly dried up. Orin Kelsey and family left for Idaho, on the 1st inst., where they will make a new home. A farewell dinner was tendered them at the home of postmistress post-mistress Taylor Sunday, and a farewell dance was given on Tuesday evening at which several Kanarra people were present. |
