Show TO HEAR ALL EVIDENCE. Kentucky Contest Committee, to Have Flenty ofTimo. Frankfort, Ky., Jan. 21. The House this afternoon, after a long debate, passed Mr. Orr's (anti-Goeble Democrat) resolutions instructing the contest committee com-mittee in the case of Governor and Lieutenant-Governor to take all the time necessary iu order to arrive at a full, fair aud just conclusion, and to hear all of the evidence on both sides. This resolution was brought forth to meet the complaint of Goebel's attorneys attor-neys that the interference of otitside events had cut off much of their testimony. testi-mony. In the debate on the floor Cantrill and other Goebel leaders opposed the resolution, but a large number of Democrats Dem-ocrats broke away from party lines and the resolution finally passed, by a vote of 78 to 14. Tho preceedings today before be-fore the contest committees were uneventful. |
