Show IMN'E VALLEY. Home missionaries A. R. Whitehead and George E. Miles were here on the nu inst. Mrs. May Cox has returned from Pinto to her old home. She spent the winter in Pinto. William Gardner and Nat Gardner have returned from Salt Lake and report re-port having had a good time. The other day while R. S. Gardner was plowing, five sea gulls followed all forenoon; they were very tame. Some Pine Valley folks are arranging arrang-ing to go to St. George to attend Sunday Sun-day School conference on the 28th and 29th lusts'. George M. Burgess, Howard L. Burgess Bur-gess and Frank Adalard have returned from White River and give good reports re-ports of that country. We are having sonie nice storms which causea the farmers to .rejoice. Teams are plowing and plantiug is being be-ing extensively carried on, Born A son to the wife of Royal J. Gardner on the 21st inst. The boy weighed twelvo and a-half pounds. Mother and babe doing well. The. remains of J. B. Bracken, Sr., were brought home from Panguitch, and funeral services were held here on the 16th inst., at which comforting remarks were made by the brethren-the brethren-the meeting house was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The members mem-bers of Bro. Bracken's family who were at Panguitch accompanied the remains home. |
