Show MAI 11 VAUl AIRS T amaiel maiel virgin feb 6 1922 this whole community was shocked tuesday morning to learn of 0 the very sudden death of mrs olive maloney beloved wife of thomas maloney which oc batted at 11 45 p m monday january olive lee daughter of john D and mary diary lee was born at harmony fort april 14 1869 1859 she was married to mr maloney about forty four years ago to this union twelve children were born six having died in infancy A son haymond raymond maloney died december 5 6 1918 1016 and a daughter mrs julia beames died june 28 1921 mrs maloney was a kind and agreeable woman and will be greatly missed by hosts of rela rell tives and friends the singing waa was furni furnished shod by singers from hurricane assisted by bever 1 tr w H aro amt 0 prayer Is the soul souls s sincere de sire followed by prayer by J T gerber singing beautiful home the following spoke words of corn com tort fort and cheer to the bereaved tarn fam lly fly fames faines jepson and bishop sam uel isom of hurricane and bishop sylvester earl all the speakers spoke of the faithful life of sister maloney of her work in the ward tor for she took an active part in the important religious work of the ward she was relief society Pr president eident tor for several years and faithfully tended to her numerous duties when head of that organization until she was hon orally released she was a great worker in sunday school and was class leader of the parent a class at the time of her death spoke of her motherhood to her children in every sense of the word her training and understanding of the gospel enabled her to counsel her children as to right and wrong spoke about her going from this life so peacefully when practically all of her labors were done emphasising emphasis ing the idea that her bereaved ones should not mourn because it was one of the easiest ways to be called not having to suffer long singing I 1 know that my myc redeemer lives solo part was sung by mrs charles petty of hurricane assisted by choir benediction by evan the grave was dedicated by sylvester earl A number of relatives and friends from hurricane attended besides the sorrowing husband the following children survive rich ard joseph rubin and dewey twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild mrs maloney leaves the following brothers john H ellsha elisha and jacob lee one sister mrs mariam cornelius and one half brother brother daniel mathews all residents of this place mr maloney and family appreciate the loving sympathy and kindness shown unto them at this time |
