Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS state engineers office salt lake city utah jan 14 1920 notice 1 hereby given that lafayette hanchett of salt lake city utah has made application in accordance cor dance with the requirements of the compiled laws of utah 1917 as amended by the session laws of utah 1919 to appropriate sixteen thousand acre feet of water from an unnamed wash in washington county of which chadbourne Chad burne dameron or diamond valley and black washes are tributary said water Is to be stored whenever available from january 1 to december 31 inclusive of each year in reservoir formed by means of a dam constructed across the wash the center of the dam to bear 8 12 deg E ft from the center of sec 27 township 40 south range 17 west salt lake base and meridian the water will be released and allowed to flow down its natural course and discharge into the santa river and be diverted at various points and used during the entire year to irrigate acres embraced in parts of all the sections of land in said township 42 south range 17 west this application is designated in the state engineers office as no all protests against the granting of said application stating the reasons must be made by affidavit in duplicate accompanied with a fee of 12 60 and filed in this office within thirty 30 days after the completion of the publication of this notice GF mcgonagle state engineer date of first publication jan 22 1920 date of completion of publication feb 19 1920 |
