Show MRS MARY obituary burrda died at her home at chad burns ranch thursday oct 4 1917 of after an illness of ten days she was born nov 15 1853 in the cherokee nation in the state of Okla homi and wib the daughter of eliza goehman and rob ert lloyd she leaves a husband an aged mother four brothers and four sisters she was the mother of ten children nine of whom survive her one daughter having preceded her to the other side she leaver twenty fite grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her loss she was a faithful latter day saint and for many years had looked after the comfort of the traveling public many a weary traveler ha found comfort and rest at her home the hour was never too late for her to get up from her bed and see to the comfort of those who happened in at her door fanneral services were held at her home oct 0 1917 and ore sided over by bishop jeter snow of pine valley the gunlock choir furnished the singing they sang 1 I know that my redeemer lives prayer was offered by elder H J burgess the choir eang 1 I need thee aery hour the speakers were elders J L bunker william baker H 1 burgess james 8 P bowler and bishop jeter anon all spoke of the worthy character of the departed bister and also words of comfort to the bereaved family the choir sang nearer my god to thee and the benediction wa pronounced by william baker the remains were taken to central where interment was made in the at that |
