Show Ephraim A. Snyder and sons, Milas F., and Eldon H., and daughters, Eva and Tnelda, arrived ar-rived late Monday from their ranch on Mt. Trumbull, due to the serious illness of Vera Snyder, who passed away Tuesday morning. morn-ing. The Bridge Ettes were guests Monday evening of Mrs. Karl Hutchings with Mrs. Clawson Burgess, Mrs. Lee Weibel and Mrs. Rex Nelson as special guests, honors going to Mrs. Robert Pickett Pick-ett and the guest, Mrs. Burgess. ie Mr. and Mrs. Andrew G. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Smith and baby boy and Miss Vivian Smith arrived Monday night from Santa Monica, Calif., where they have resided for several months, the two men being employed in defense de-fense plants. They plan to return to the Coast Sunday, except Vivian, Viv-ian, who has enlisted with the WAACS and will leave this (Thursday) evening for Des Moines, Iowa, where she has been assigned to train. She is registered regis-tered from Los Angeles, although the family home is in St. George Prior to going to California, she was a student of Dixie junior college. |
