Show I LEEDS Mrs. Lizzie McQuaid Reporter Mrs. Karl Caldwell has gone to Gilroy, Calif., to visit with her children, Mr. and Mrs. E. Pack and baby. She expects to have her son Kay, meet her in Gilroy. He is stationed at Camp Wood, Ore., and can only have a short furlough. The Primary held their conference confer-ence on Sunday evening. Their program was very good. Mr. and Mrs. Karl McMullin and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sullivan of Hurricane visited relatives here on Sunday. Laurel McMullin spent the week end in Glendale, Utah, the guest of her cousins, Chloris and LaRue Robinson. Miss Wilson, our school teacher, went to Hatchtown on Saturday. Her brother, who is in the armed forces, would be at home on a short furlough. Mr. and Mrs. Mark McMullin of Cedar City visited with their mother, Mrs. R. C. McMullin and brother Frank, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy and family fam-ily have gone to Lovelock, Nev. They were called there by the death of Mr. Kennedy's father. John Parker has sold his farm to a Mr. Holden of Las Vegas, who has moved his family here. |
