Show Funeral Services Held At Virgin Saturday For Warren T. Beames VIRGIN, Utah. Funeral services for Warren Tolson Beames, 90, were held here Aug. 2. Mr. Beames died at his home here, Aug. 1, of infirmaties of old age. He was born in 1851 in Trinity, Lawrence county, Alabama. He, with his wife and family moved to Utah 55 years ago and settled at Harrisburg. Later they moved here, where they have been residents resi-dents for 30 years. His wife died in 1933. He is survived by two children, Blueford of Virgin and Mrs. Ada Baxter of Milford; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Beames was known affectionately by all his friends as "Uncle Tolly". He was well known for his generosity and "southern hospitality". Services were under the direction direc-tion Bishop Alma Flanigan, were as follows: "I Know My Heavenly Heav-enly Father Knows", choir; prayer, pray-er, Orin Ruesch; talks, Sylvster Earl and Orin Ruesch; song, "Rock of Ages", choir; talks, Alma Flanigan, James Cornelius and Evan Lee; song, "I Have Heard of A Land", choir; benediction, Bishop Bish-op Flanigan. |
