Show BUNKERV1LLE, Nev. Mrs. Mary H. Leavitt Eeporter Moapa Stake conference was held in Las Vegas on Sunday. Elder John A. Witsoe of the -council of Twelve and W. E. Ryberg of the church Welfare were in attendance. attend-ance. No Sacrament services were held here on Sunday as so many are out deer hunting and others , went to Las Vegas to conference. Our Clark county hospital lo-j cated at Mesquite has suddenly become very popular with new babies. Three were born there within 24 hours last week to Mrs. Archie Leavitt, Mrs. Mark Hardy and Mrs. Lucina L. Shaner. Mrs. Vincent Leavitt returned from Los Angeles where she spent a few days with her son, Bert Leavitt. He is attending U.C.L.A. for officers training. Mrs. Charles Leavitt was taken to the St. George hospital last wcek. An operation for appendicitis appendi-citis was found necessary. She is reported doing very well at Present. Several from here have been summoned to Las Vegas to serve as jurors. Mrs. Alice Hardy returned from Las Vegas where she has been fr medical treatment the past week. Kay Bunker returned to the Las Vegas hospital for treatment f his leg which has been thoub-g thoub-g him for many years. He spent several weeks there a few months ago. |
