Show Lieut. C. Prince Visits Office The News enjoyed a pleasant visit Wednesday from Lieut. Clayton Clay-ton Prince who is here on leave from his base in Salinas, Calif. He is looking great and says he couldn't feel better. Their set-up at Salinas is what he terms almost al-most ideal. They have good quarters, plenty of fine equipment, equip-ment, with four dentists to do the work, which is mostly for the officers. of-ficers. Mrs. Prince has been with him at Salinas and remained in Los Angeles to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Leland Anderson, while he came on to St. George to spend nine days of his leave with his parents, Sheriff and Mrs. Antone B. Prince. Pa pa Pa Pvt. J. Wilkins Visits Parents Home for the week from May 11 to May 24th, Pvt. Jerry M. Wilkins visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Wilkins in St. George. He entered en-tered military service in October 1943, and has been located at Fort Sam Houston. A lineman in the railway battalion, Pvt. Wilkins' duties includes the installing of telephone and telegraph lines. Pa Pa Pa Kent-Darwin Reber Visit Among last week's surprise visitors from military areas were Kent Reber H. A. 1C of the U. S. Navy, Shoemaker, Calif.; and Pfc. Darwin Reber from Delano, , Calif. Both managed to be here for Mother's Day. Darwin had just a three day pass from his post, and Kent had a full week. Kent was one of the military guests at the Alumni banquet, May 15. Pa Pa Pa Seaman Brooks In Colorado Since completing his boot training train-ing at Farragut, Idaho, Seaman Grant Brooks has been assigned to the Naval training school at Boulder College, Colorado. He reports this a very satisfactory setup. On Friday, Mrs. Brooks and their two small daughters left for Boulder where they will spend several weeks while Seaman Brooks is attending college. Pa Pa Pa Hurricane Boys Home Hurricane has several service men home this week. The group includes Wendell Hall, Carpenter's Mate 2c of the U. S. Seabees; Aldean Hartley and Merlin Hinton Hin-ton of the U. S. Navy; and Golden Taylor, who is home for two weeks from his post at San Diego.
