Show Five St. George Boys Leave Monday to Join United States Navy Five St. George boys took the early moming bus Monday for Ft. Douglas, where they reported for assignment in the U. S. Navy, having enlisted earlier. The group included: Dick Miles, Donald Truman. Clayton Atkin, Marvin Woodbury and Foy Seegmiller. The parents of these boys in order listed are: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miles, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Truman, Mr. and Mrs. Rudgar Atkin, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Woodbury and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seegmiller. The entire group were assigned to San Diego to begin training. Of the group who left last week, Calvin Cottam, Vernon Short, El-yn El-yn Cameron and Lloyd Adams w assigned to the Great Lakes aval training school at Chicago, and the other four, including Austin Aus-tin Gentry, Keith Baker, Marion waff and Lester Gubler shipped San Diego. Leon Vatson left Tuesday for It Lake City where he will be swom in to the U. S. Navy, and " visit there for several days Wore coming home to await his alignment. |
