Show Local Rotary Club Holds Out-door Meeting At Home of Laron S. Andrus The lawns in the rear of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Laron S. Andrus An-drus furnished a delightful setting set-ting for the Aug. 27 meeting and party of the St. George Rotarians, their partners and guests. More than 40 people were present. The program included cheer singing led by Elwood Manwaring and talks by W. O. Bentley and Anson B. Call Jr., giving a brief survey of their respective occupational occu-pational set-ups, Mr. Bentley of the St. George Building Society, and Mr. Call of Agriculture, home and farm management in Washington Wash-ington county, with special recognition recog-nition of the 4-H clubs in behalf be-half of youth. Lunch was in charge of Mrs. Andrus and Mrs. W. J. Reich-mann, Reich-mann, and was followed by a variety var-iety of stunts and games. |
