Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Mrs. Herbert Alger has returned home from California after a two-week's visit there with relatives. rela-tives. She went to attend her father's funeral. Mrs. Mary Holt and her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Sarah Morris have gone to Northern Utah to visit relatives. rela-tives. They plan to visit in Stockton, Stock-ton, Utah with Mrs. Fred Bag-shaw Bag-shaw and family and in Salt Lake City with I. H. Lamb, who is in a hospital there. Mrs. Bag-shaw Bag-shaw and Mr. Lamb are children of Mrs. Morris. Mr. Lamb is a former Enterprise resident and was seriously injured in a mine accident about six weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Haven Paxman and daughter, Mary of Washington Washing-ton were visitors here last Sunday. Sun-day. Emil Barlocker of Salt Lake City spent the past week here visiting with his son, Arnold, and family. After a few days visit in Cedar City with his daughter, Mrs. Don Alger, he will be joined by two other daughters, who will return with him to Enterprise and the family will go to other parts of Southern Utah. Mr. Barlocker Bar-locker will remain with his son here for the- remainder of the summer. Pfc. and Mrs. Jay Holt and two children are here from Gunlock to spend a month with Pfc. Holt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George O. Holt. Jay is home on a 30-day furlough. Mrs. Paul Alger and Mr. and Mrs. John Z. Alger left Monday for San Francisco where they will meet Paul, who is returning home after several years in the Navy. They will return to Enterprise Enter-prise after a short visit with relatives rela-tives in California. Mrs. Gordon Moyle, Mrs. Karl Foster and Mrs. James Angell left Monday for Ogden to bring their brother. Alma Holt home from Bushnell hospital. Mrs. Angell An-gell will go on to Denver to be with her husband who is in a hospital there. He returned recently re-cently from the European theater of war where he was seriously injured. Mrs. Beth Ronnow and Mrs. Rowena Melissa have gone to Salt Lake City and other northern north-ern parts of the state to visit. Mrs. Melissa will spend most of her time in Ogden with her husband hus-band who has been transferred there for further training. Mrs. Heber Truman and infant daughter were rushed to the Iron county hospital Monday evening due to Mrs. Truman's sudden illness. ill-ness. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Staheli accompanied their son to Fort Douglas where he was inducted into the Navy. From there they went to Park City where they visited for a week with Mr. and Mrs. George Staheli and family. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Jones visited here Sunday from their farm in New Castle. L. M. Terry, L. W. Huntsman. Raymond Laub and Milton Laub represented the cattle men of this section at a meeting in Beaver Monday. Removal of big game for the year 1945 was discussed. Ephraim Barlow returned home Monday from Salt Lake City where he has been receiving medical medi-cal treatment. |
