Show HURRICANE Mrs. Vernet Ilinton Reporter Charles Delbert Ahlstrom of Ka-nosh Ka-nosh and Mrs. Dora Campbell of Provo were here Wednesday to visit Mrs: Susie Campbell. Thursday Thurs-day they went to St. George where they were married in the L. D. S. Temple. They returned to Kanosh Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Darvel Sampson and family of Overton have been visiting the past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Chamberlain Chamber-lain and son, Gordon, of Summit, were visitors of Mrs. Doris Chamberlain Cham-berlain last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Riding arrived ar-rived Saturday from Boulder City and will remain here indefinitely. Fae Teeples of Las Vegas visited vis-ited over the week end with Mrs. Golden Taylor. Mrs. Norman Atkin of Kanab spent last week at the home of Mrs. Doris Chamberlain. Mrs. Leo Reeve left Thursday for Salt Lake City on business. Phm.3c Mace Graff left Tuesday Tues-day for Camp Pendleton, Ocean-side, Ocean-side, Calif., to resume his duties. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Engle-stead Engle-stead left for Chicago Wednesday on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. Ardren Allred of Cedar City spent Monday at the home of Mrs. George Lippold. Gwynn Sylvester left Monday for summer school at Provo. Laura Lytle of St. George was a visitor here Tuesday. Mrs. Lloyd Jolley and Mrs. Mack Larsen of Salt Lake City spent the past week here with relatives. Mrs. Lafayette Staheli was hostess at club Monday. Ten members were present. Marion and Eric Englestead of Kanosh have been the guests of Mrs. Williams the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Finley Judd spent the week end in Salt Lake City on business. Mrs. Judd's mother, Mrs. Katherine Thurston returned with them to visit for a few days. Pvt. Robert Shamo arrived on Wednesday to spend a week with his wife and children. He has been stationed at Camp Callan, Calif., and is enroute to a camp near Houston, Texas, where he will report for duty June 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hinton and small daughter of Santa Monica are here visiting prior to Mr. Hinton's induction into the U. S. Navy. Mrs. Hinton will remain re-main at Fredonia for the duration. The Misses Juanita and Emma Brooksby of Fredonia are visiting at the home of Mr. . and Mrs. George Shamo. Joyce Graff spent a week visiting visit-ing at Bunkerville and Logandale. She returned Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Adams and family of Bunkerville spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Graff. Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Koski of Boulder City and Mrs. Frank Nunes and two daughters of San Jose arrived Tuesday to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Gamer Wood left Tuesday for Fredonia, where Mr. Wood will report to a new post. Scott Stanworth was injured when he fell from a wagon while on his way to pick berries. |
